UV LED photolysis lamp


Photolysis is a process which makes a chemical reaction by adding energy in form of light / photons. A lamp for classic photolysis makes large amounts of waste heat, which might destroy the chemical process. Furthermore those lamps need expensive optical filters to isolate the exact wavelength needed. By basing a photolysis lamp on power ultraviolet (UV) LEDs instead, we have solved most of the problems associated with conventional photolysis.

The UV LED photolysis lamps are developed in co-operation with I-NO. The lamps are currently being tested by Novo Nordisk with great success.
